The County Championship is England’s domestic first-class cricket competition since the late 19th century. Over the years, it has been through many format changes to suit modern-day cricket. Currently, there are two divisions of the Championship, and teams compete for the title by winning matches and gaining points based on victories as well as bonus points for batting or bowling.

It is combined with a desire to succeed in the Championship, and nothing is more important than allowing international players to excel for England as so many do. Even so, it remains an important part of English cricket’s calendar. Guests will have plenty of time for some riveting contests as well as a chance to see some future stars.
