Haris Rauf's pace proves too much for Shreyas Iyer's bat, gets split in two

India and Pakistan are playing in the 3rd match of the much-awaited Asia Cup. Earlier, the match was halted because of the rain and post-rain, India lost their two of the most important batters, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Shreyas Iyer came in to bat at number four and looked quite comfortable at the crease against the fiery Pakistan’s fast bowling. Meanwhile, in the eighth over of the match, Haris Rauf’s quick ball broke the bat of Shreyas Iyer. Iyer played a cover drive that yielded him two runs for the shot but in the process, he broke his bat.

Soon after Iyer’s bat-split incident, the right-hand batter inducted a sense of relief with two quick boundaries. After Shaheen Afridi rocked India with two sensational wickets, all hopes rested on Iyer.

The right-hand batter however has found the comeback incredibly tough as he was removed from the crease with another Rauf beauty in the 10th over.
