England and Australia will take on each other in the second ODI of the three-match series in Women’s Ashes 2023 on Sunday, July 16 at The Rose Bowl, Southampton. After losing the one-off Test, England are on a winning spree as they won the last two T20Is to clinch the T20I series and further won the first ODI to take a 1-0 lead. During the first ODI, England scripted history as they registered their highest successful chase of 264.
Captain Heather Knight led from the front and helped her side chase down the target with her knock of 75* (86) in 48.1 overs. England need to win both of the remaining matches to regain the Ashes while Australia are just one win away from retaining it having won it in the last edition in 2022.
