The second and final T20I between Sri Lanka and New Zealand is all set to commence on Sunday, November 10, within a day’s time since the conclusion of a hard-fought first game of the series.
A couple of 27s for Michael Bracewell and Zakary Foulkes served as the top-scorers for an otherwise passive performance with the bat by New Zealand. The 22-year-old Foulkes came back brilliantly with the ball as well, scalping an impressive 3/20 in only his third 20-over expedition for the nation.
As for Sri Lanka, it could be very well said that they did not find batting easy too. After the spinners, mainly in the form of Dunith Wellalage and Wanindu Hasaranga were the central forces for restricting the Kiwis to a score of 135 all-out, it was three batters registering scores in 20s in addition to a composed 35-run knock by skipper, Charith Asalanka, which got the hosts over the line.

Probable Top Performers
Probable Best Batter: Kusal Mendis
Although Kusal Mendis departed for a duck in the first game, it does not mean that all is done for him. The series against the West Indies provided a couple of explosive innings. He has enough prowess to tackle spin and come good on Sunday.
Probable Best Bowler: Wanindu Hasaranga
Hasaranga bowled splendidly for his couple of wickets in the first game. He deserved a few more wickets but it was not to be. The white-ball series against the Men in Maroon recently saw him take wickets in five out of the six matches played.
