After a phenomenal win against Peshawar Zalmi in the previous match, the Multan Sultans are now set to take on Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing Pakistan Super League. The Mohammad Nawaz-led side will be desperate to register their third win in a row as a loss will rule Quetta out of the competition.
Now, in order to qualify for the playoffs, Quetta needs to win their respective match against Multan Sultans and will then have to hope that Peshawar Zalmi will lose their final league game against Islamabad United.
When it comes to the Sultans, they have already qualified after a sensational run chase in the previous match. South Africa international Rilee Rossouw absolutely stole the show with a phenomenal century (121 off 51 deliveries) while veteran Kieron Pollard scored 52 off just 25 balls. Courtesy of their meticulous innings, the Mohammad Rizwan-led side chased 243 runs with five balls to go.
Now coming to Quetta, they defeated Zalmi by eight wickets in the last match. Jason Roy was the star with the bat as the England international smashed 145 runs from 63 deliveries while Mohammad Hafeez scored 41 off just 18 deliveries. If they manage to play a similar brand of cricket, Quetta can put a lot of pressure on the Sultans.

The South Africa international looked very dangerous and can take the game away from the opposition at any point. In eight matches so far, the 33-year-old has scored 373 runs and is currently the third-leading run-scorer in the tournament.
Probable best bowler
Abbas Afridi:
Bowlers are not having a good time in the tournament but despite so, Abbas Afridi has proved himself in the middle.
