The final league game between World Giants and Asia Lions on March 16 in the ongoing Legends League Cricket Masters (LLC Masters) will determine the first finalists of the competition. Meanwhile, the losing team will be seen playing the eliminator against India Maharajas.
Notably, the World Giants registered a comprehensive three-wicket victory in their last game against the Maharajas. Former Australia international Brett Lee was once again a sensation with the ball, picking up three wickets while Chris Mpofu and Tino Best picked up two each. With the bat, Chris Gayle reigned supreme, scoring 57 off 46 deliveries. Despite the win, the team will be concerned about their middle-order batters. They have been poor so far and that needs to change in the upcoming game as the team is eyeing to book their place in the finals.
Coming to Asia Lions, India Maharajas absolutely decimated them in the last match. They were brilliant in the first two matches of the league but suffered a massive 10-wicket loss against the Gautam Gambhir-led side and thus, they need to improve a lot at the moment. Bowlers looked in terrible form and that is a massive reason to worry as the league is heading toward its business end. However, with the bat, Upul Tharanga and Tillakaratne Dilshan looked good so far as the openers will once again have the responsibility to give the team a flying start.
