The defending champions Gujarat Titans are all set to take on five-time winners Mumbai Indians on April 25 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Notably, the visiting team have lost three of their first six games and are currently seventh on the IPL Points Table, while the Hardik Pandya-led side started the season really well, with four wins out of six matches.
In their last match, the Titans pulled off a heist by defending just 135 runs against a quality batting lineup of Lucknow Super Giants. Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill are in terrific form with the bat, while Mohit Sharma has impressed one and all with the ball. Young Afghani spinner Noor Ahmad has also made a solid impact so far.
Mumbai, meanwhile, are struggling with the bat. However, flamboyant batter Suryakumar Yadav has returned to form and that will boost the confidence of the team ahead of their upcoming match. With the ball, Piyush Chawla has been terrific so far but overall as a team, the Rohit Sharma-led side needs significant improvement.

The pitch at the Narendra Modi Stadium is a balanced one. It is expected to favour the pacers initially, but as the game goes on, spinners are likely to come into the picture. Anything above 175 will be a good total on the surface.

GT vs MI Probable Best Performers
Probable Best Batter
The 32-year-old Suryakumar Yadav has finally got his mojo back. He was terrific in Mumbai’s last IPL 2023 match against Punjab Kings and if he manages to play in a similar fashion, the fans are definitely up for a treat.
Probable Best Bowler
The veteran pacer was one of GT’s net bowlers in the last season. This year, he has become one of the players to watch out for from the team. The 34-year-old has been terrific with his line and length and is bowling at an economy of just 4.66. Thus, Mumbai batters may find it difficult to tackle Mohit in the middle.
