Mumbai Indians have qualified for the IPL 2023 playoffs courtesy of a sensational win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last league match and will now lock horns with Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator on May 24 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The five-time champions will be fairly confident of their chances as the batters are on song at the moment. Australia international Cameron Green hit a terrific century in the last match while skipper Rohit Sharma too returned to form. The bowling seems to be a bit of a concern and that is one area that the team would want to improve.
When it comes to Lucknow Super Giants, most of their strategies have worked so far and that is a huge plus point. Opener Quinton de Kock has managed to give good starts while Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran have been sensational, to say the least. LSG’s success depends on their shoulders and it needs to be seen how they perform under pressure. Amit Mishra and Ravi Bishnoi will also be essential.

Pitch Report
The surface at the MA Chidambaram Stadium is getting slower with each passing game. Spinners are expected to get a lot of support from the surface while the batters might take some time to settle down. Anything above 165 will be a good score and batting first will be ideal.
