Litton Das (9 off 13) and Sabbir Rahman (2 off 7) struggled against disciplined bowling, while Captain Thisara Perera was dismissed for a golden duck by Khushdil Shah. Mosaddek Hossain (12 off 9) and Alauddin Babu (16 off 16) tried to salvage the innings, but their efforts were insufficient to post a competitive total. 

Dhaka’s innings ended at 111, thanks to a brilliant bowling display by Rangpur Riders. Nahid Rana (3/21) was the standout performer, while Akif Javed (2/13) and Khushdil Shah (2/14) provided valuable support.

Chasing a target of 112, Rangpur Riders started cautiously. Opener Azizul Hakim fell early to Mustafizur Rahman for 5 runs off 14 balls. However, Alex Hales took charge with a blistering 44 off 27 balls, smashing four boundaries and three sixes to ensure Rangpur maintained a strong run rate. Hales was supported by Saif Hassan (13 off 15), who rotated the strike effectively before falling to Alauddin Babu.

With the chase well under control, Khushdil Shah stepped up with an explosive unbeaten 27 off just 13 balls, including four boundaries and a six. His aggressive stroke play ensured that Rangpur crossed the finish line with ease.

Iftikhar Ahmed played a steady supporting role with 9 not out off 12 balls. Rangpur’s disciplined batting and calculated aggression led them to victory in just 13.2 overs, with 40 balls to spare. Rangpur Riders’ bowlers set the tone for the match, with Nahid Rana and Akif Javed dismantling Dhaka’s batting lineup. 

RYR batters complemented their bowlers’ efforts, particularly Alex Hales and Khushdil Shah, who capitalized on the modest target. Rangpur’s comprehensive win further strengthened their position in the tournament, while Dhaka Capital will need to reassess their strategies to stay competitive in the league.
