In response, the Galle Marvels chased the target with ease, reaching 83/3 in just 7.1 overs. Niroshan Dickwella provided a brisk start with a 20-run knock off 12 balls, including two boundaries, but he fell to Kamindu Mendis after putting the Marvels on the front foot. 

Alex Hales played a match-defining innings, smashing 38 off 18 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes, setting the tone for a comfortable chase. Kamindu Mendis struck again to dismiss Sandun Weerakkody (7), but the target was too small to create any pressure.

Shakib Al Hasan ensured there were no hiccups, finishing unbeaten on 6 off 3 balls, alongside Chamindu Wickramasinghe, who hit 9 off 3 balls to seal the win. The Marvels’ chase was a clinical display of power and composure, showcasing their dominance throughout the match. 

With this 7-wicket win, Galle Marvels further solidified their reputation as a formidable side in the tournament. Zahoor Khan’s brilliant bowling performance was undoubtedly the highlight, crippling the Jaguars’ batting lineup and setting up the victory.
