Zimbabwe and Pakistan are set to continue their three-game T20I series. Both sides will play in the second encounter at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Tuesday, December 13.
However, the first fixture at a similar venue did not go as planned for Sikandar Raza & Co. The game saw the visitors come in to bat first after winning the toss. Thanks to Usman Khan’s and Tayyab Tahir’s quick-fire knock of 39 runs respectively, the Men in Green posted a total of 165/4 runs in the first innings.
As for Zimbabwe, as the side came out to chase down the target, the side’s top order had a fiery start, courtesy of Tadiwanashe Marumani and Raza’s knock of 33 and 39, each. While on one side these two were piling on the runs, the other end saw wickets falling in tandem. Abrar Ahmed and Sufiyan Muqeem picked three wickets apiece as the hosts only managed to score 108 runs in the second innings, with Pakistan winning the game by 57 runs.

Pitch Report
The pacers have had a better track record as compared to the spinners at this particular venue. The batters would look to play the first few overs cautiously of each innings carefully due to the seam movement expected to be on offer. The average first innings total at this venue in T20Is is 155. Winning the toss and opting to bat first would be the way to go here.
