Zimbabwe (ZIM) and Afghanistan (AFG) are all set to continue their ongoing multi-format series. After three T20Is and three ODI matches, both sides will next lock horns across two Test matches. The first Test of the series will be held at the Queens Sports Club, in Bulawayo, starting on December 26.

It is worth noting that Zimbabwe last played a Test match in July 2024. The side took on Ireland in an only Test. The game saw plenty of action and thrilling plays from both sides. However, Ireland emerged victorious, winning the game by four wickets.

On the other hand, Afghanistan were set to play a Test game against New Zealand in September 2024. However, the game was abandoned without a ball being bowled. With little practice in the longest format, both sides will hope for a good performance in the upcoming clash.
