Zimbabwe (ZIM) will take on Afghanistan (AFG) in the first T20I of the series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, on Wednesday, December 11. Zimbabwe would like to find the rhythm after losing the T20I and ODI series against Pakistan. On the other hand, Afghanistan are in marauding form after winning the ODI series against South Africa and Bangladesh, respectively.
There are some new names that both teams will carry in the series. For Afghanistan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman is back in the side and the team will be led by Rashid Khan. All three T20Is will be played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. It is worth noting that, Zimbabwe had failed to capitalize, playing at the same venue against Pakistan.

Pitch Report
The pitch of the renowned Harare Sports Club will aid the spinner more than the pacers. The batters will find it difficult to time the ball and the pitch slows down as the match progresses. The weather will be clear skies with no substantial threat of rain.
