WTC 2023-25 Points Table: Here’s a look at the latest standings after Bangladesh’s historic Test series win against Pakistan

Bangladesh continues its domination over Pakistan and is in the fourth position after securing a historic Test series victory at Rawalpindi. With this win the visitors have secured their first series win over their South Asian counterparts in the red-ball format. The side won the opening Test to take a lead of 1-0 over the hosts. With this brilliant win, the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side saw themselves raise their position in the latest World Test Championship (2023-25) standings.

The Bengal Tigers, have moved up to the fourth position and have 33 points and 45.83 points percentage (PCT) after clinching a resounding six-wicket win. Stellar performances from Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Hasan Mahmud, Litton Das, and Nahid Rana, who contributed immensely to their side in the Test match, guided the team to a dominating victory.

Das scored 138 in the first innings for which he was awarded the Player of the Match award, while Miraz was awarded the Player of the Series for scoring 155 runs and bagging 10 wickets over the two Test matches. Mahmud and Rana shared nine wickets between them which helped the tourists dismantle the opposition at a mere 172 in the second innings.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has slipped to the eighth position with 16 points and a PCT of 19.04. Meanwhile, Bangladesh will be next seen in action against the table toppers India for a two-match away series this month while Pakistan will host England for a three-match series in October.
