Team India pulled off a brilliant victory against Bangladesh in the second Test of the two-game Test series. After having won the first Test in Chennai, both India and Bangladesh gathered for the second Test at the Green Park in Kanpur from September 27.
It is worth noting that the clash was interrupted by rain several times. Only 35 overs of play happened on day 1, with days 2 and 3 seeing no play at all due to rain and wet outfield. In the first innings, Bangladesh scored 233 runs, where India replied by posting 285 runs and declaring on Day 4.
Aiming to get a result out of the game, India then bundled out Bangladesh for a score of 146 runs in the second innings, giving themselves a meagre target of 95 runs to chase down and win the game. Team India made quick work of Bangladesh on day 5 and managed to win the game by seven wickets and the series by 2-0.
