Royal Challengers Bangalore Women (RCB-W) stunned Delhi Capitals Women (DC-W) beating them by eight wickets in the final of the Women’s Premier League 2024 (WPL 2024) on Sunday, March 17 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. After opting to first Delhi Capitals were bundled out for just 113 in 18.1 overs despite being 64/0 after seven overs as Sophie Molineux changed the game with her triple wicket over.

In reply, RCB chased down the target comfortably in 19.3 overs with valuable contributions from Sophie Devine (32 off 27), Smriti Mandhana (31 off 39), Ellyse Perry (35* off 37) and Richa Ghosh (17* off 14). Courtesy of their win, RCB Women ended the trophy jinx of the franchise and etched their name in history books as the winners of the second season of the WPL.
