According to the most recent ICC T20I rankings, released on Tuesday, pacer Renuka Singh Thakur was placed fifth while batsman Smriti Mandhana of India rose to fourth place. With 743 rating points, India’s vice-captain and opener, Mandhana, rose one spot to fourth place after scoring a crucial sixty against Sri Lanka in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup final. Renuka, a bowler who took seven wickets during the event, is now placed fifth among bowlers with 722 rating points, moving up four.
With six wickets, Radha Yadav was the fifth-highest wicket-taker in the Asia Cup. After climbing seven spots, she finished in 13th place.

The top two hitters were still Australia’s Beth Mooney (769) and Tahlia McGrath (762). Hayley Matthews (746) of the West Indies was third, and South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt was sixth.
The biggest gainer, however, was Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu, who climbed three spots to rank sixth with 705 points after her match-winning 61 in the Asia Cup final against India.
“Inspirational Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu also reached new heights as she moved up three places to sixth on the same list to bring up a career-best rating following her Player of the Tournament heroics at the Asia Cup that included a whopping 304 runs at an average north of 100,” as quoted by ICC.
Following the conclusion of the Asia Cup, Pakistan’s Muneeba Ali climbed six places to 35th on the T20I batters list, while Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana moved up three positions to 14th. Sri Lanka’s Harshitha Samarawickrama reached 20th after top-scoring with an unbeaten 69 in the final.
