Team India is all set to kick off its ODI series against South Africa. After drawing the T20I series, the Men in Blue will hope that the ODI series will come forth with some results. With the first clash scheduled for Sunday, December 17 at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, India will hope for a good performance against the Proteas.
In one of the biggest highlights ahead of the clash, it was announced that 22-year-old Sai Sudharshan will be making his ODI debut for Team India. The youngster has played 12 first-class matches and 25 List A matches so far, scoring 843 runs in first-class cricket and 1269 runs in List A.
He also represented Gujarat Titans in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he played eight games and scored 362 runs, including three half-centuries. Making his debut for India, Sudharshan will hope for a memorable performance and to make his name on the biggest stage.
