On Saturday, May 20, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 77 runs in their final league stage match of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. With this win, the four-time champions advanced to the playoffs for a record 12th time.

DC skipper David Warner entertained his fans once again, this time during the match against CSK. While batting against Deepak Chahar in the fifth over of DC’s innings, the Australian mistimed a slower delivery but still went for a hazardous run. He could have been out if Moeen Ali had struck the stumps directly at the non-strikers’ end.

However, Warner rose immediately after diving at the crease to go for another single, and he remained outside the crease to lure Ajinkya Rahane. When Rahane threw the ball, he quickly returned to the crease. However, Jadeja scared Warner by immitating a throw, to which Warner answered with the all-rounder’s unique sword celebration, and the two erupted into laughter.

On Sunday, May 21, Warner shared a video of himself imitating Jadeja’s sword celebration in front of the CSK all-rounder on his official Instagram handle. The Australian captioned the video asking, “Who does it better,” with two laughter emojis.
