The IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025 mega auction is right around the corner, and the 10 franchises are all set to rope in the best possible players in their squads ahead of the new season of the tournament. The upcoming mega auction will be held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, and a total of 1,574 players will be available for the teams to buy.

Just 18 years and 248 days old, the youngster from Afghanistan has been in high demand. South Africa’s Kwena Maphaka sits in fourth place in the list of the youngest players to have registered in the IPL 2025 mega auction. At 18 years and 229 days old, Maphaka has already played two games in the IPL in 2024 for Mumbai Indians, where he took one wicket.

Hailing from India, Andre Siddarth is going to be the third youngest player in the IPL mega auction at 18 years and 87 days old. The youngster has impressed with his performances in the previous edition of the Cooch Behar U-19 tournament, and he could be keen on proving his worth, given that he is picked by a franchise in the mega auction.
2. Ayush Mhatre (India) – 17 years 130 days (Batter)

Hailing from Mumbai, the youngster has played six first-class matches and has scored 441 runs with an average of 40.09. Former Australia batter David Warner is the fifth oldest player who will be available in the mega auction. Warner was released by Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, and at 38 years and 27 days old, Warner could be a fine addition to any team in the tournament. Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi, at 39 years and 327 days old, is the third oldest player in the IPL mega auction 2025. With 24 matches played in the IPL, Nabi has scored 215 runs and has taken 15 wickets in the process as well. His inclusion in any side would provide the team with some experience in both departments.
