The Indian Cricket Team has a massive fan following all across the globe which is evident from the packed crowd their matches witness worldwide. With the massive fan following, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also earns huge revenues and reward their players accordingly. T20 cricket is the booming format of the game and BCCI earns a fortune through IPL and international games every year which also goes into the pockets of the players.

In 2023, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill are the top earners from T20Is for India as they’ve have earned 21 Lakhs each. Notably, BCCI pays a match-fee of INR 3 Lakh for every T20I and all the four players have played seven matches in this year so far. Additionally, Pandya earns INR 5 Crore under BCCI’s Grade A contract while Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill earn INR 3 crore annually under the Grade B contract. On the other hand, Ishan Kishan earns INR 1 crore manually under Grade C Contract.

Star batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have not played a single T20I since India’s ten-wicket hammering against England during the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final. Hence, the star batting duo doesn’t appear in the list. Since then, Hardik Pandya has been entrusted with the captaincy duties of the young side following his IPL triumph with Gujarat Titans in their debut season.
