‘We will be back stronger’ - Rishabh Pant posts heartfelt message following Bengaluru Test loss

Team India got off to a subpar start to their ongoing three-game Test series against New Zealand. Both sides locked horns in the first Test at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The clash began with India batting first, and the side posted a total of 46 runs in the first innings.

In response, New Zealand managed to score 402 runs, which was followed by India putting in a much better performance in the second innings scoring 462 runs, giving the visitors a target of 107 runs in the second innings. New Zealand did so with ease and won the game by eight wickets.

There were many performances from the game that stood out, and one of the performances came from star batter Rishabh Pant. The 27-year-old was dismissed on 99 runs in the second innings of the game. After the clash ended and New Zealand won the game by eight wickets, Pant took to X and posted a motivational message on the social media platform.

“This game will test your limits, knock you down, lift you up, and throw you back again. But those who love it rise stronger every time. Thanks to the amazing Bengaluru crowd for the love, support, and cheers. We will be back stronger,” Pant tweeted.

Furthermore, former India cricketer Sourav Ganguly also took to X to talk about the performance put forth by both matches. He backed India to win the series after losing the first Test.

“Fantastic display of cricket from both teams..that’s why test cricket is so special. India fought back very well. well done NZ.. Rachin Ravindra is a special player. Sarfraz, Rishabh brilliant ..backing India to win the series@bcci” Ganguly tweeted.
