On a rain-interrupted final day during the third Test between India and Australia in Brisbane, fans witnessed an emotional moment between two of their favorite cricketers. As the rain stopped the game at the Gabba, veteran Indian stars, Virat Kohli and Ravi Ashwin shared a heartfelt moment in the Indian dressing room.
The Test match saw Australia declaring their second innings at 89 for 7, giving India a target of 275 runs. With only 54 overs left in the day and the threat of more coming in, the outcome of the match was uncertain.
However, as the rain-delayed play, Kohli and Ashwin were seen engaged in a deep and meaningful conversation that lasted over 30 minutes. Sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, they discussed cricket and perhaps much more. The conversation ended with Kohli wrapping his arms around Ashwin. They continued to sit together, looking at the rain, with Kohli’s arm draped over Ashwin’s shoulder.
