Watch: Virat Kohli dances to ‘My name is Lakhan’ at Wankhede Stadium
Team India kicked off the third Test of the ongoing three-game series against New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium on November 1. The day was quite a roller coaster ride for Team India.
There were several moments that stood out, but none of them were as highlight-worthy as ace India batter Virat Kohli dancing on the field. In the first innings of the game, when Kohli was fielding in the slips, the fans in the stadium started singing popular Bollywood number “My Name is Lakhan,” famously associated with Kohli’s dance moves.
Hearing the fans, Kohli immediately started dancing, performing the hook step of the song. The clips of the same has been going viral all over social media.

India trail by 149 runs ahead of day 2
Speaking of the ongoing game between India and New Zealand, the clash saw the visitors come in to bat first. Tom Latham and Devon Conway opened the innings with scores of 28 and four runs, respectively. Will Young scored 71 runs at No. 3 whi;e Rachin Ravindra was dismissed cheaply for five.
Daryl Mitchell played a brilliant knock in the heat and added 82 off 129 deliveries tp help New Zealand post 235 runs in the first innings of the game. As for India, Ravindra Jadeja was the highest wicket-taker in the first innings with five wickets to his name. Washington Sundar took four wickets while Akash Deep struck once.
Coming out to bat, India got off to a poor start as Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 30 and 17 runs, respectively. Nightwatchman Mohammed Siraj was dismissed on a duck while Virat Kohli could add just four runs before being run out. India scored 86 runs but ended up losing four wickets in the process. As Day 1 of the third Test ended, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant stood unbeaten on the crease, at 31 and one run respectively, with India trailing by 149 runs.
