The Pakistan ODI Tri-Series is currently going on and there have already been some dramatic scenes in the ongoing event. The ongoing match between South Africa and Pakistan has also had a lot of drama where the two teams are fighting for a place in the finals which will be taking place on 14 February.

Both the teams had lost to the New Zealand team in their opening games in high-scoring matches. This was the first game of the series that is being played at the National Stadium in Karachi and so far it has been a match dominated by the batters with South Africa putting on a huge total of 352 on the board which will be a big challenge for the hosts to chase down and play the finals against the Blackcaps.

The first innings also featured some ugly scenes as well where young and upcoming batter Matthew Breetzke and Pakistan star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi got into an altercation in the 39th over of the game where Breetzke while running to the other end bumped into Afridi which led to the 6-foot 6-inch tall pacer to confront the 26-year-old batter. Both players stood their ground until the umpire intervened in between to settle the debate between the two players.

In the end, Breetzke went on to play a great knock of 83 off 84 deliveries until he was dismissed by Khushdil Shah due to an exceptional catch by Salman Ali Agha in the covers region. On the other hand, Shaheen Afridi might have gone for a bit of runs in the game but took a couple of wickets in the game dismissing the likes of Tony de Zorzi and Wiaan Mulder. He ended with figures of 2/66 in his full quota of 10 overs.
