Rishabh Pant is currently in Australia as he is playing the high-voltage Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT 2024-25). The star wicketkeeper-batter found some time out from his busy schedule to explore the picturesque city of Adelaide, where India played Australia in the second Test and lost by 10 wickets, last week.
In a wholesome moment outside a mall in Adelaide, the 27-year-old Pant was seen spending time with a little girl. In a video shared on the social media platform of ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), the southpaw was seen spending time with the child, who was sitting on his lap.
Notably, Rishabh Pant became a household name in Australia in January 2019, when he became the first Indian wicketkeeper to score a Test century in the Oceanian country. He played crucial roles in India’s last two series wins Down Under. The Haridwar-born also gained immense popularity due to his banter with the then-Australian Test Captain, Tim Paine, during the 2018-19 leg.
However, the 2020-21 series was most memorable for cricket aficionados as Pant played a remarkable knock of 97 during the fourth innings in Sydney and followed it up with an unbeaten 89* for an iconic victory in Brisbane.

Indian fans were hoping for Pant to hit the ground running in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 because of his past success on Australian soil. However, the left-handed batter has had a subdued start to the five-match series. In the first two Tests, Pant has scored 87 runs from four innings at an average of 21.75.
