Star and rising all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy recently visited the renowned Tirupati temple situated in Andhra Pradesh, after returning from the tour of Australia. After his visit, Reddy took to his social media to post video stories of his Tirupati trip.

Soon after his video went viral in the social media domain. Notably, in the video he was seen climbing up the stairs of the temple on his knees. This shows his unwavering belief in his religious customs and god. Earlier, the rising all-rounder also got a rousing welcome in his hometown, Vishakhapatnam. For the uninitiated, Reddy impressed the Indian cricket fraternity along with the Indian board,  BCCI, with his vital performances during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy aka BGT 2024-25 Test series.

Upon arrival, Reddy was showered with flowers and was also offered a huge garland from the supporters while at the airport. Another video which has been spreading like wildfire showed Nitish Kumar Reddy sitting in an open jeep. At this moment, his father Mutyalu Reddy was also accompanying the star all-rounder.

Reddy was second highest run-getter for India in BGT 2024-25

Meanwhile, speaking of Nitish Kumar Reddy’s tour down under, the 21-year-old showed his mettle when India was in trouble during the Melbourne aka Boxing Day Test match. The youngster dug in deep and scored a magnanimous maiden Test century under tough conditions.

All in all, on his debut series, Reddy featured in five matches, whereby, he scored 298 runs with a decent average of 37.25. As a result, he ended up being the second-highest run-getter for Team India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
