Day 3 of the ongoing fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 had many moments to remember, with one of the most memorable ones coming from the excellent knock of Nitish Kumar Reddy. After the Indian team found itself in a precarious position, Reddy’s knock did wonders for the side.

The 21-year-old stayed unbeaten on a score of 105 runs in 176 deliveries, helping India post a total of 358 runs with the loss of nine wickets. One of the most viral moments from the game was the reaction of his father from the stands when Reddy completed his maiden ton.

Furthermore, in a clip that has been going viral all over social media, Reddy’s family paid a visit to him at the hotel. The BCCI shared the clip on social media as well. “Tears of joy have not stopped rolling. The Reddy family has been a bundle of emotions today. Witness the magical moment as they embrace Nitish after he wowed the world with his extraordinary maiden Test century at the MCG. A day etched in memories forever,” they captioned the post.

In the clip, Reddy’s family was visibly emotional as the star all-rounder hugged his father after his monumental achievement.
