Pakistan and Afghanistan are locking horns in Match 22 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on Monday, October 23 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Pakistan Captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first. The decision was vindicated by openers Abdullah Shafique (58 off 75) and Imam-ul-Haq (17 off 22) who added 56 runs for the first wicket in off 61 balls.

Following his dismissal, Babar Azam walked to the crease to take Pakistan’s innings forward. During his innings, a notable moment was witnessed on the pitch as Mohammad Nabi gave a warning to him to not leave his crease early. The incident took place in the 16th over as Nabi walked in to bowl the first ball of the over. However, he stopped in his delivery stride seeing Babar walk out of the crease.

Following the incident, the duo was seen having a friendly chat and sharing smiles.
