Watch: Indian pace attack gears up for first T20I against Bangladesh

Indian team won the Test series against Bangladesh by 2-0 and the teams are prepping for the T20I series. The first T20I is scheduled to commence on October 6 at the New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior. Ahead of the series opener, the Indian pacers converged for a practice session. BCCI uploaded a video of fiery pacers, Mayank Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, and Hardik Pandya indulged in their bowling drill.

It is worth noting that Mayank has received his maiden India call-up. The right-arm pacer grabbed the spotlight for his sheer place playing for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024. On the other hand, Harshit received his maiden India call-up during the Sri Lanka series but has not debuted for the team yet. He featured for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2024 and was applauded for his swing and pace.

Gwalior to host first international game in 14 years 

India will be hosting Bangladesh for the three-match T20I series. With the first T20I in Gwalior on October 6, Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will host the second T20I on October 9. The final T20I will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on October 12. It is worth noting that Gwalior will be hosting its first international game since 2010.

The last time India played a T20I series, they outsmarted the hosts, Sri Lanka by 3-0. It was the first assignment of the newly appointed T20I captain of India, Suryakumar Yadav.
