India B wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant hilariously joined the huddle of Shubman Gill-led India A at the start of fourth day’s play in the ongoing Duleep Trophy match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Gill’s side, which had dismissed six of India A’s batters, including Pant, were at the periphery of the ground preparing to make their way to the middle. They gathered in a huddle as Gill gave a final pep talk before beginning the day’s proceedings. Pant, who was wearing a blue-coloured practice jersey, was spotted with all of India A players, having a hearty laugh post the gathering.

Pant, a good friend of Delhi Capitals teammate Avesh Khan, shared a moment of good-natured banter before giving him a pat on his hands.
As for the day’s play, India B look to be in firm control, having the oppostion at 118/6 after 32 overs with KL Rahul batting at 40, accompanied by Kuldeep Yadav, on a score of four off 19 deliveries (at the time of writing).
The opening pair of Mukesh Kumar and Yash Dayal, although a little expensive for their liking, accounted for four wickets with Dhruv Jurel and Tanush Kotian getting dismissed for a golden and silver duck, respectively.
