The ground staff plays an important role in a cricket match so that the fans enjoy a great game of cricket. India’s former player and commentator Harbhajan Singh acknowledged the role of one of the members and gifted him his jacket for his efforts during the Adelaide Test earlier this month.
Harbhajan Singh shook his hand and thanked him for his hard work, ending the interaction with a kind gesture by gifting him his jacket. The ground staff member responded by thanking the 2011 World Champion generously.

Third Test ends in a draw
The third Test at the Gabba ended in a draw due to rain interruptions and bad light. Though there are still two matches left with the series level at 1-1, the fans might have still wanted to see another thrilling match at one of the most iconic venues in Australia. Apart from the fans and the players, this was also a big challenge for the ground staff who were trying their best despite the interruptions.

The 2024 Test season has mostly seen results in the longest format of the game. The game at the Gabba in Brisbane between Australia and India was only the second Test that was drawn this season with the first being between West Indies and South Africa at the Port of Spain in August.
A total of 50 Test matches have been played in 2024 with 48 ending in win/loss results and only two ending in a draw which means that 96% of the matches have ended with results making it the year with the least amount of drawn Test matches.
