Pakistan’s star all-rounder Shadab Khan found himself in an awkward situation recently when a female fan bravely questioned his poor form with the ball. During Pakistan’s second T20I in the ongoing T20I series against England, Khan struggled to make an impact, leaking runs and failing to pick up wickets.
The four-match T20I series between the Three Lions and the Men in Green has been affected by rain, with two matches already washed out. Only the second T20I took place without interruption, with the hosts winning convincingly by 23 runs. The 25-year-old had a forgettable outing, conceding 55 runs in his four overs without taking a wicket, and being hit for three big sixes and five boundaries.
The fourth T20I between the two teams is scheduled for (Thursday) May 30, in London. In the process, a fan came up with a candid question for Shadabd which left him visibly uncomfortable.
“Aap chakay kyun kha rahe hain? Form mein wapis aayein. Wicketein leni hai aapne (Why are you conceding sixes? Get your form back. You need to pick wickets),” a female fan bluntly asked Shadab as can be seen in the viral video.

All our four fast bowlers have a lot of skill: Shaheen Afridi
The series holds significant importance for both teams as they prepare for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and USA. The Jos Buttler-led side will begin their title defence against Scotland on June 4, while the Babar Azam-led side will kick off their campaign against the USA on June 6, before facing arch-rivals India on June 9.
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has labelled Pakistan’s bowling line-up as the strongest ahead of the marquee event, which is set to begin on June 01.
“I think in any cricket team in the world, nobody has such a strong bowling line-up. All our four fast bowlers have a lot of skill and even the bowlers sitting on the bench like Abbas (Afridi) have a lot of skill with a good slower ball,” Afridi said in a video posted by ICC.

“If the players with such good skills enter this World Cup against world-class batters they will perform well. All the names will also have a huge responsibility over them,” he added.
