In a crossover brimming with star-studded allure and captivating luminaries, English red-ball skipper and all-rounder Ben Stokes was observed amidst an expansive training ground, engaging with the national football team of England.
Adorned in a sleek, form-fitting black T-shirt which showcased his intricate tattoos embellishing his biceps and triceps, the two-time World Cup winner was seen waiting alongside the pitch with Gareth Southgate, head coach of the English football team.
Harry Kane, an esteemed figure within the English football set-up and a seasoned campaigner otherwise, is one of the few personalities who has had a streak of camaraderie with the England legend other than Jack Grealish. Kane was the first among his peers to extend a handshake and greet Stokes. Stokes, sporting black shades that complementing his attire, received individual greetings from the remaining players as they gradually approached him upon entering the field.

Stokes, who had previously reversed his retirement announcement to participate in the Cricket World Cup 2023, made the decision to withdraw from selection for the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. The all-rounder cited the imperative need to prioritize his physical well-being to fulfill his responsibilities as an all-rounder for England across the three cricket formats. As a result, he was absent from the 15-member English squad which is currently in the Caribbean, ready to commence their campaign against Scotland on June 4.
