Legendary Pakistan cricketers Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, known for their lethal pace on the cricket field, have transitioned seamlessly into the roles of commentators and coaches. Both are currently engaged with the T20 World Cup 2024, contributing to the broadcasting and analyst teams. However, it was a recent off-field moment that captured the internet’s attention.

In a viral video, Akram and Younis, along with popular host and artist Fakhr E Alam, were seen enjoying a cup of tea. The trio humorously referred to their tea break as a “mid-life crisis,” bringing a smile to many faces. The video gained more attention due to their perfect lip-sync to the viral song “Bado Badi” by British Pakistani singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan. Their spot-on expressions and enjoyment of the moment made the clip an instant hit.

“Bado Badi” by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan was removed from YouTube after 28 million views:

The song “Bado Badi” itself has a story. It went viral last month, quickly becoming an internet sensation thanks to its unconventional style and catchy, gimmicky music. Sung by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, it amassed 28 million views before being removed from YouTube due to a copyright claim. The melody and composition of “Bado Badi” were found to resemble “Akh Lari Bado Badi,” a classic song by legendary singer Noor Jehan from the 1973 film “Banarasi Thug.”

Despite its removal, the song had already inspired numerous memes and Instagram reels worldwide. Khan responded to the setback by re-uploading the song with a new video on Instagram, reigniting its viral status.

Fans have been thrilled to see their favorite cricket legends, Akram and Younis, engaging in such light-hearted fun. The video continues to receive a barrage of likes and comments, proving that these cricket icons are just as popular off the field as they were on it.
