Eight games were played in the Vitality T20 Blast 2024 on Friday, June 7. While most of them turned out to be nail-biters, there were a few one-sided matches as well.
Derbyshire registered a massive 96-run win against Nottinghamshire at home. Meanwhile, Somerset and Kent played a high-scoring thriller in Canterbury, where Sam Billings’ swashbuckling century helped Kent register a stunning win.
Another riveting enounter was played between Leicestershire and Durham. Alex Lees led from the front, as Durham won by seven wickets in the last over. Meanwhile, Mason Crane’s four-for went in vain as Essex registered a nerve-wracking two-wicket win against Glamorgan in Chelmsford.
