Almost every cricket fan in the world has imagined their dream lineup, which consists of some of the greatest cricketers that have ever played in world cricket, and with the ODI World Cup 2023 looming around the corner, former Indian batter Virender Sehwag joined the fray as well.
The 44-year-old was asked to name his first five players that he would pick in his dream ODI XI. After some thought, Sehwag named the five players that would be picked first in his lineup.
The duo of star Indian batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were at the top of Sehwag’s list. Furthermore, he named veteran Australian batter David Warner and New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips as two of his picks. Sehwag topped it off by picking ace Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah as his fifth player as well.
