Veteran Indian batter Virat Kohli has become a global icon over the years and has become the biggest brand of the game around the world. With India preparing for the big five-match Test series against Australia, the 36-year-old’s face was used in promotional banners for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT 2024-25) in Australia despite no longer being captain of the team

Meanwhile, his signature MRF Genius Grand King bat has been selling for a whopping AUD 2,985 (approximately INR 1.62 lakh approximately) at the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre, in Sydney. This price point is five times higher than the VIP tickets for Coldplay’s upcoming Ahmedabad concert.

The price difference was made after YouTuber Norman Kochanek documented the premium cricket equipment at the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre.
