Virat Kohli emerges as most searched person in Asia, surpasses BTS’ V and Jungkook

Star India batter Virat Kohli has emerged as the most searched personality in 2023 in the world’s largest search engine, Google. According to data obtained from Google Trends, Kohli has surpassed some of Asia’s most well-known personalities.

As per a list released in June, the Korean pop group BTS V held the top spot of most searched Asian on Google for the first half of 2023. However, the right-handed batter has surpassed him as the star who has received the most Google searches so far in 2023.

Thus, the former India captain has surpassed BTS members JungKook and V. The 34-year-old has also surpassed Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif, who was the “Most Searched Asian Worldwide 2022,” according to Google’s list from last year.
