Vinod Kambli accepts former 1983 World Cup-winning skipper and former teammate Kapil Dev’s proposal to improve his health and financial condition. The former India cricketer has high hopes of solving his health and financial issues and has no problem going to rehab once again and getting his life back on track.

The story of Vinod Kambli is one of the saddest chapters in Indian cricket where the former cricketer was once one of the rising stars in cricket and recently has been facing a lot of problems. Kambli has been recently suffering through a lot of health and financial issues which was noticeable from his appearance during the memorial of his coach Ramakant Achrekar. There have been a lot of people talking about the problems he has been facing which also includes some close friends and former teammates.

Looking at Kambli’s health issues former 1983 World Cup-winning skipper and former teammate Kapil Dev proposed to look after his treatment to make sure he gets his health back on track. Though Kambli has already been to rehab 14 times, he has accepted the proposal of the Haryana Hurricane during an interview with Vivek Lalwani on YouTube.

“Sure, I have no hesitation (to enter rehab), because until I have my family with me, I’m not afraid of anything, anybody. I will complete it and return it. I will come back,” said Kambli.

Kambli living on BCCI pension

We all know the level of talent Kambli had during his time in international cricket and was once the owner of properties worth more than INR 8 Crores, however right now he has not been in the best condition right now. It has been revealed that Kambli has been living on the pension given by the BCCI which is not more than INR 30,000.

Though it is tough to see a once-promising talent in Indian cricket in this condition, it is still great to see that he still has some teammates who want to look after him during the tough moments of his life.
