The Match 16 of The Hundred 2023 Women’s between London Spirit and Trent Rockets ended in grand fashion as Nat Sciver Brunt turned the game on its head with her ruthless hitting. The game was hanging in balance as Rockets required 35 to win from 20 balls chasing 125 in the second innings. Sciver Brunt (57* off 37) was batting with Joanne Gardner (6 off 8) and the duo decided to take on Grace Scrivens.
Gardner scored ten off the first two balls and gave the strike back to her skipper who took no time to unleash her beast mode. The Rockets’ skipper first smacked two colossal maximums against Scrivens and further gave Danielle Gibson the same treatment to finish things off in style.
