‘Teri T20 Mein Jagah Nahin Banti’ – Pakistan fans troll Babar Azam during second T20I vs Australia
Pakistan fans brutally trolled star batter Babar Azam during the second T20I against Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground. Notably, the 30-year-old has played 21 T20I matches in 2024 and scored only 666 runs at a strike rate of 132.66. Under his captaincy, the Men in Green were eliminated from the group stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 and the fans have now voiced their frustrations against Babar.
In the match, they were heard telling Babar that he doesn’t belong in T20Is anymore. The video of the same has gone viral on social media. “Teri T20 mein jagah nahin banti. (You don’t deserve a place in the T20 team)” said one fan.
Notably, the former Pakistan captain was dropped from the Test squad earlier in the year. He played the first Test against England, but following extreme inconsistency, the team management was forced to drop him as Kamran Ghulam replaced him in the middle. The 29-year-old on his debut hit a century and has arguably sealed his spot in red-ball cricket. That is a bad sign for Babar, who can be thrown out of the scheme of things in red-ball cricket if the middle order keeps performing.

This is not acceptable at all. He’s our former captain and he’s our pride. Sharam karo sab. Stay strong, @babarazam258 🇵🇰♥️https://t.co/MbI4GHytMw
