The 2024 T20 World Cup has just kicked off and all 20 participants have unveiled their new outfits to shine in the marquee event, hosted by the USA and the West Indies.

10. Bangladesh – 5/10

Bangladesh have retained their national flag colours of green and red in the World Cup kit. However, this time the red shades are not all over but come in the form of waves on the sleeves and sides. Overall, the jersey has a sharp look with a touch of tradition and modernity.

9. Sri Lanka – 5.5/10

Sri Lanka’s new kit features different shades of blue, darker on the sleeves and lighter on the front. Their national emblem is prominently outlined on the front and runs all over the shirt. The overall design pattern showcases players’ passion and hunger for win. The use of yellow in the team name, logo, sleeve and collar borders gives a bold look.

8. India – 6/10

With blue dominating, Team India’s jersey features a hue of saffron on the shoulders and sleeves. The short collar has a tricolour stripe and three white stripes are given on the shoulders as well. If you take a closer look at the left side, you can see a star just above the logo, representing India have already won the T20 World Cup in 2007. A hue of saffron lining also runs throughout the sides of the shirt.

7. South Africa – 6.5/10

South Africa have stuck to their official shades of yellow and green for their World Cup attire. The yellow is given more prominence as the green is visible only on the arms, collar, shoulders and sides. Notably, the three national flag colours – red, black and blue – are printed on the left shoulder and a black stripe between two green stripes on the right shoulder.

6. West Indies – 7/10

West Indies have continued with their yellow and maroon colour combination in the World Cup kit. Maroon has been given on the sleeves, sides and some abstract designs at the bottom of the body front. Yellow is displayed in the centre and at the end of the selves. The sky blue colour inside their logo is also printed on the sleeve area and shoulder joint..

5. Afghanistan – 7.5/10

Afghanistan’s World Cup kit is all-blue from top to bottom. The sky blue and slightly dark blue colour tone gives the jersey a cool look overall. As described by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, the jersey symbolises the country’s unity with its tribes and the picturesque Lapis Lazuli region. The glossy outfit also illustrates the match venues with captivating designs.

4. Pakistan – 8/10

Pakistan kept their national colour green as dominant, with lighter and darker shades. Dubbed the ‘Matrix’, the jersey features different patterns all over it and looks much better than their previous ‘watermelon’ design. Pakistan Cricket described the jersey as a symbol of unity.

3. England – 8.5/10

Jos Buttler and Co. will don a red-dominated jersey in the marquee event. The defending champions kept it plain and simple, giving a classy touch. All lettering and logos are printed in white, while a small blue pattern is added to the shoulder and sleeve ends. In the previous version, England used light red as their main dominant colour and printed a lion outline on the body front part.

2. Australia – 9/10

“When you think of green and gold you think of Australia.” This is what Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood said about their new outfit. Australia decided to ditch the yellow dominance this time and go with a dark green colour with some yellow designs here and there. The collar and underarm area of ​​the shirt is designed in yellow and the rest is in jungle green shade.

1. New Zealand – 9.5/10

The New Zealand team took inspiration from their 1999 kit and decided to go retro this time. Teal colour dominates the jersey. Interestingly, the only black colour seen on the Black Caps’ outfit is the “New Zealand” on the body front part. The team name is printed on a white background.
