After 52 matches and two semifinal encounters, it all comes down to the mega-final of the T20 World Cup 2024. South Africa (SA) will take on inaugural champions India (IND) in the summit clash on Saturday, June 29, at the Kensington Oval, in Bridgetown. Both the teams last met in a T20I game in December 2023 at New Wanderers Stadium, in Johannesburg when India toured South Africa. In that match, the Indian team defeated South Africa by 106 runs courtesy of a magnificent hundred from Suryakumar Yadav.

Marco Jansen (3-0-16-3) also bowled well and gave excellent support to Tabraiz Shamsi. South Africa also got support from other bowlers, as a result of which they restricted Afghanistan to a very low total. South Africans will be hoping all these will continue their good form.
Speaking about the last game of India, skipper Rohit Sharma 57(39) played a magnificent match-winning captain’s innings which helped India to post a competitive total of 171. Suryakumar Yadav 47(36) played superbly and gave excellent support to Rohit Sharma. Speaking about the bowling, Kuldeep Yadav (4-0-19-3) bowled magnificently which helped India to restrict England to just 103. Axar Patel (4-0-23-3) also bowled superbly and gave excellent support to Kuldeep Yadav. India eventually won the game by 68 runs.
