West Indies and New Zealand lock horns in a highly-anticipated T20 World Cup 2024 encounter on Thursday, June 13, at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.

The two teams are placed in Group C alongside Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea. This encounter is going to be very crucial as Afghanistan are sitting pretty at the top of the table, with two wins from as many games and a remarkable net run rate (NRR) of +5.225.

Meanwhile, the West Indies have also won both their matches so far and have an NRR of +3.574. New Zealand, who were considered the favourites to top the group by many, suffered a crushing 84-run defeat to the Afghans in their opening fixture.
