The greatest rivalry is back as India and Pakistan are all set to lock horns in their respective match of the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup on Sunday, June 09 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, in New York. The arch-rivals face each other in Match 19 of the Group A in a blockbuster and mouth-watering clash on a festive weekend. Notably, both sides met for a 20-20 game just two years ago at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the 2022 edition where India inflicted a 4-wicket loss on Pakistan, courtesy of Virat Kohli’s masterclass.

In the ongoing tournament, the Men in Blue already secured victory over Ireland. On the other hand, the Babar Azam-led Pakistani side faced a shocking, facing an upset at the hands of the co-hosts United States of America. Speaking of the playing XI, India would like to continue the same playing game as the previous game. On the other hand, Pakistan would like to make changes in the combination, as they are eagerly waiting to see the fitness update of their key all-rounder Imad Wasim.

As for their bowlers, Naseem Shah (4-0-26-1) and Mohammad Amir (4-0-25-1) bowled beautifully, which helped Pakistan to drag the game to the very final ball.
