T20 World Cup 2024: India (IND) Schedule, Time Table, Dates, Venues, and PDF Download

The schedule for the T20 World Cup 2024 was announced on Friday, January 05 as the ICC (International Cricket Council) unveiled the fixtures for the ninth edition of the tournament. A total of 20 teams will be seen participating in the event which will be jointly hosted by the West Indies and the USA from June 1 to June 29.

The 20 teams have been divided into four groups of five teams each, out of which teams finishing in the top two spots in each group will advance to the Super Eight stage. India have been put in Group A along with arch-rivals Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and the USA.

The Men in Blue will start their campaign with a game against Ireland on June 05 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. They will next take on Pakistan on June 09 which promises to be the biggest game of the tournament with the entire world waiting for it to get underway.

In their third fixture, the world’s number 1 T20I side will take on co-hosts USA on June 12 and will travel to Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida for their last fixture against Canada on June 15 for their last group fixture.

Semi-finals will be played in Guyana and Trinidad

Notably, three of India’s matches against Ireland, Pakistan and Canada will start at 7:30 PM (IST) while the one against the USA will begin at 8:30 PM IST. Following the end of the group stage, the Super 8 stage will begin from June 19 where the two groups will be formed with teams A1, B2, C1 and D2 in one group, and A2, B1, C2 and D1 in the other group.

The top two teams from the Super 8 stage will further qualify for the semi-finals which will be played on June 26 and 27 in Guyana and Trinidad respectively while the all-important final of the tournament will be played on June 29 at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
