The apex cricket governing body International Cricket Council (ICC) is all set to release additional tickets for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The latest would mean that there will be tickets up for grabs for at least 13 fixtures of the marquee event. Notably, the T20 World Cup is slated to commence in the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies from June 1 and it will conclude on June 29.
Regarding the availability of the tickets, fans can check out the official website of the global event. These tickets will be released on (Tuesday) March 19 at 8:30 PM (IST) for the Indian fans. As a result, out of the 55 matches to be played, tickets for at least 51 fixtures will be made available by the ICC.
Now, when it comes to the price ranges for the tickets, they will be ranging between $6 USD in the Caribbean region while tickets will be priced $35 USD in the United States.
“We are delighted to have worked with our commercial partners to be able to release these additional tickets to 51 matches to ensure that we are accommodating as many fans as possible at every ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 fixture,” ICC Head of Events, Chris Tetley, was quoted as saying by ICCcricket.com.
Besides, with every major cricketing event, the ICC also extends its services in the hospitality sector as well. In the same vein, cricket aficionados can also get their hands on some sensational packages for food and beverage along with some top-notch accommodation in the form of private suites. It is worth noting that more than three million applications were received through the ballot for the tickets of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
