T20 World Cup 2024: Gulbadin Naib pulls his hamstring with Bangladesh 2 run behind DLS par score

Afghanistan and Bangladesh are facing each other in their last game of the Super Eight stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent.

During the 12th over, rain began to fall, and Head Coach Jonathan Trott instructed his players to slow down the game as the rain intensified. Interestingly, Naib went down at slip, clutching his hamstring. Rashid Khan, the skipper, was visibly unhappy and questioned Naib about what had happened. Meanwhile, the grounds crew brought the covers on as the rain picked up pace. At that moment, Afghanistan were ahead by two runs according to the DLS method.
