Suresh Raina announces culinary venture, opens India-themed restaurant in Amsterdam

Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has set his foot forward for a new adventure after the southpaw announced the grand opening of his culinary venture in Amsterdam. Raina announced his mission of bringing the Indian flavour to the European tables via his latest Instagram post. 

Suresh Raina, 36, served Indian cricket for more than a decade, winning the 2011 World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy, has decided to set his foot into the culinary world. The former cricketer shared the news of the grand opening of ‘Raina Indian Restaurant’ in Amsterdam via his official Instagram account.

“Get ready for a culinary explosion like never before! I am absolutely ecstatic to introduce Raina Indian Restaurant in Amsterdam, where my passion for food and cooking takes centre stage! Prepare your taste buds for a remarkable journey where each dish tells a story and every bite is a celebration of Indian heritage.

Over the years, you’ve seen my love for food and witnessed my culinary adventures, and now, I am on a mission to bring the most authentic and genuine flavours from different parts of India straight to Europe’s heart,” Raina wrote in a passionate Instagram post.

A unique blend of cricket and food

Raina, who shares a unique bond with food and cooking, wishes to enchant the European population with the magical flavour of Indian cuisine. The ex-cricketer stated that the staff at the restaurant are devoted to delivering a variety of artistic flavours to the guests without compromising on the quality of the food.

According to reports, the restaurant will provide a unique experience to its guests, combining excellent food with cricket memorabilia. The onlookers can dive into the cricketing journey of the renowned cricketer with captivating pictures highlighting his illustrious career at the top level.
